Homemade fish paste
Its one of those polarising love it hate it vibes. Up until fairly recently I was not a fan - I had only tried the jarred variety.
I saw this one on eastafternoon blog at a time when I was looking at adding more omegas to my daily diet. Perfect timing!
This is bordering on ridiculous its so easy to throw together.
One batch lasts me four days if I were having it on toast every day.
1 x tin smoked sardines - I used lucky star
2 tbsp butter
Juice of half a lemon
Salt and pepper
Chuck it all into your processor and Blitz until smooth.
That's it! Serve on hot toast with a cup of tea and your day will be off to a rocking start.
