Back on track with this 5 minute healthy chocolate pud

Ok so I have been a bit off the rails with my diet for a while now. You see - food is my comfort. When you take away all the other things I use for comfort, all I have is food. I am learning to try replace this - yet another bad habit - with other, healthier habits.

One of the things we love to do is watch series after Adam goes to bed and eat popcorn and other snacks. The problem is it has become such a habit that I sit here pulling at my nails if I don't have a snack in hand while watching. This is when you know it's not good. I am not hungry - I am just eating.


Anyway, I am working my way through all this, and have started a new healthy way of eating. I don't want to call it a diet in fact - it isn't a diet it is just a mindset change.

Eat whole, healthy foods. Avoid sugar, avoid processed carbs. Be mindful when eating don't just stare at your comp or TV or phone. No eating after 7:30pm.

This is Mon-Fri. On the weekend I won't go and actively seek out ways to eat badly but if I feel like something I may have it.


I have a terribly sweet tooth especially at certain times of the month and so I made these lovely little choc puddings to have as dessert this evening.


1 avo 2 frozen bananas 1/4 cup good dark chocolate, finely chopped 2 tbsp cocoa powder 2 tbsp raw honey 1 cup greek yoghurt (sub coco cream for vegan) Pinch of sea salt Sprinkle of desiccated coconut to serve


Blend all except des. coconut ! Chill in fridge for an hour. Sprinkle with coconut. Consume.
